They’re not your run of the mill school, university or college student publication, they are a magazine dedicated to arts, education and information. From musical theater to dance to film and more, Carrer Highlights brings it all to you!
Carrer Highlights features work by some of the best in the industry, including: Joseph Cornell, director; Donavan Russell, author and educator; Frank Verdi, opera director; Stanley Myers, dance artist; and more. There is a great deal of information on their website. It is worth taking a look. Besides the information on their site, you can also access a great deal of information at their bookstore. There you can find a variety of reference materials for those who are interested in arts and education. In addition, there are books available for purchase from the Carrer Highlights book store as well!
One of my personal favorite’s on the Carrer Highlights website is their conversation with moderator Dr. Ida P. Rolf, a world-renowned educator, researcher, consultant and writer. Dr. Rolf and Carrer Highlights had some interesting and thought-provoking discussions about education, music, film and theater, education reform and much more. In the process of our discussion, I learned a great deal. The discussions, tapes and books were all informative and educational! Looking back on them now, I realize that I learned a lot from this website and in the book store! What a wonderful way to end our month of learning!
